Balance

I can't believe Christmas has come and gone! The whole time from Thanksgiving through Christmas is just a blur. Trust me, I am not complaining ... the shop took off better than we ever could have hoped for. Days that used to be spent relaxing, watching movies, shopping for presents were spent updating the site, making products, getting orders shipped. Shipping ... uggh ... one of those necessary evils in my opinion. Why does it always seem to take so much time getting things ready to be shipped? And let's not even mention the lines at the Post Office! Thankfully, most of the time we could slip in and just drop off the packages although then you have to get past all the evil looks as you walk past those that have stood in line for the last half hour. I just try to walk fast and not looking anyone in the eye ... it's not my fault I purchased my postage online! I did feel bad though ... sorry ...

Did I mention how grateful we are that the shop is doing well?? Who would have thought that water bottles would be our go-to product? Definitely not I. They really are great though and so pretty! The feedback we've gotten from buyers has been great as well. We even had some requests for "manly" fabric! We do have a couple but need to add more options for the men in our lives. Love ya!

We're still trying to work out a balance around here. We've got the day jobs still, the shop to update, tweets to tweet, Facebook fan page to promote, and blog posts to post ... that's a lot to try and get accomplished and usually something gets dropped. We apologize to our blog who has sat patiently in the corner waiting its turn. We will do our best to give attention to you all on a more consistent basis!

With that said, I've got a shop to update, and tweets to tweet, and a fan page to promote! Stay warm and dry and we'll catch ya the next time around!

11 Days 'til Christmas ... Help!!

So sorry ... we have completely fallen behind on our blog posting and Christmas shopping and Christmas tree buying and so many other things. Good news though is we have been really busy with the Etsy store. I had no idea our water bottles would be as popular as they are. We've actually run out twice ... so stressful and such a learning experience.

The fabric shop has been put on temporary hold just until we can get past Christmas and then it's full steam ahead. Just the thought of all that pretty fabric gets me super excited!

New Water Bottles

We've got new water bottles in our Etsy shop and I love them... LOVE THEM! They are so pretty and you get to see a lot more of the fabric than with just the wraps. I wish I could figure out how to not make them look so squatty. They are actually about 10-1/2" tall and lovely. These pictures just don't do them justice.

A little side note though, the tops screw off and no matter how hard you pull on them they don't budge unless you unscrew them. Yeah, sad to say it took me about 60 seconds to figure that one out.
