Quilt Market Recap - Tina Givens & a Giveaway

So much gorgeousness in one place! We are such fans of Tina Givens' whimsical, beautiful prints so when we ran into her at Quilt Market, we got a little giddy. She is just as fabulous and fun as her fabrics are.

She won 2nd prize for her double booth and I must say it was lovely.

Tina was at market promoting her wonderful new book Sew Tina! 30 Cute Projects & Adorable Decor Items for Kids. If you haven't had a chance to check out this book yet, it is FABULOUS! Full of fun, playful projects for kids ranging in age from tiny baby to around 8.

Tina has such a whimsical, magical side to her and it completely shows in her patterns. She takes the everyday items and makes them glorious. At the same time though, these are fairly easy projects that won't take you days upon days to make. And I love that she admits she's not a perfectionist in her sewing and doesn't expect anyone else to be either.  Definitely my kind of sewing! Check out a few of the projects from the book ... they are adorable!

Just how awesome is Ms. Tina Givens? So awesome that she gave us a book to give away on our blog. Yep, just straight up signed it and gave it to us for one our wonderful readers. Woot!!
